The Story Behind RUNIT
What started as a simple idea has grown into a global phenomenon. As Co-Founder of RunIt, Noel Taua’a expressed, “We just sparked up an idea and thought we could take this global, and that is what led this idea forward.”
RUNIT was built by six co-founders: Brendan Taua’a, Brandon Taua’a, Virgil Taua’a, Noel Taua’a, Reni Molimau, and Andy Molimau. Together, they have turned a simple idea into a global collision sport phenomenon, blending grit, athleticism, and cultural pride.
For the team, pride runs deep. As proud Samoans bringing this brand to the world stage, Noel reflects, “It means everything for us as a unit. We take a lot of pride in where we’re from and where our parents are from, the sacrifices our ancestors made for us. That’s our major motivation in pushing RUNIT to the world.”

Mission for the USA Tour
The goal of the tour goes beyond competition. Noel explains, “We want to bring unity, especially for our Polynesian people. We want to create a platform to show the world that Islanders can do it too. In terms of RUNIT, we want to be a household name, especially in American homes. We know we’re not far off. It will take a lot of hard work, but in a couple of years, we believe we can make a big impact in the American market.”
RUNIT is more than a sport. It is a movement. It is a celebration of culture, community, and athletic excellence. Be there to witness the collisions that are redefining sports entertainment.
